have camera, will travel

I'm a versatile, creative filmmaker with a wide variety of international television production experience under my belt. I started out as a 17 year-old 16mm cinecameraman for a small Queensland country TV station and gradually worked my way up to senior producer and director on productions in Sydney, London, Moscow, Singapore and across south east Asia.

I've had to wear many hats during my career: lighting cameraman/DOP (film/video/HD), editor (Final Cut Pro), supervising producer, director, writer and photographer on reality TV, documentary, news, current affairs, lifestyle, corporate, marketing, PR, music clips & TVCs.

My work has taken me from Australia to the United Kingdom, Russia and the former Soviet Union, Afghanistan, the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore.

I've worked in extremes: one minute rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous in a London breakfast TV studio and the next, interviewing shell-shocked Chechen refugees in squalid tent cities.

I'm a creative professional, courteous, respectful and laid back. I leave my ego at the door and can work autonomously or as part of a team. I am comfortable in a studio control room but prefer to be out in the field shooting on location.

I thrive on the creation of visually dynamic and emotive storytelling combined with powerful writing. My 'spare time' is taken up with photography and writing sci-fi drama movies and TV mini-series.
